About The Mount Nursing Home
Led by registered manager Alexandru Toasca, our culturally diverse team are all proud of their heritage and love to share their stories from around the world to engage and entertain residents. Our holistic approach allows residents to feel settled and integrated with their peers, giving them the opportunity to mix with others through a range of activities, including quizzes, bingo, dance classes, bird watching and walks along the river.
Our friendly head chef prepares fresh, nutritious meals that accommodate the wishes and dietary needs of our residents, some of whom cook alongside our chef to help prepare meals and socialise.
The Mount is set within beautiful grounds that are regularly tended to by our talented gardener with the help of our green-fingered residents. The colourful flowers, sweet smells and calming sounds provide sensory stimulation, bringing back fond memories for our residents.
Where COVID-19 restrictions allow, we encourage families to spend as much time with our residents as possible, either taking them out for the day or spending some time with them at the home where we provide on-site parking and a hot drink of your choice.
For enquiries, we will ask you some questions regarding the needs of the resident and provide you with a quote. Following an assessment of the resident, admission can take place within seven days, or longer if required. It’s worth noting that our room vacancies can change regularly, however, we can add you to our waiting list and you will receive a call when a vacancy becomes available.
