About Lashbrook Care Home
Led by CQC-registered manager Lina Nela, our team comprises qualified nurses and healthcare assistants who ensure residents are engaged, comfortable and entertained. We achieve this through scheduled trips out, social events, fitness activities and speakers to inform and inspire residents. With live entertainment, arts and crafts, gardening, cooking and much more, there is always something for our residents to get involved with.
Our specialist sensory therapy room features objects and textures which can prompt memories and evoke emotions for residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s to help them reconnect with the world around them. Our beautifully landscaped garden is full of different colours, sounds and smells which will stimulate the senses and provide a place for residents to socialise, relax with a good book or get their green fingers muddy.
Our skilled chefs create nutritionally balanced dishes using locally sourced food that caters for all tastes and dietary requirements. Freshly prepared meals and refreshments are available to all residents throughout the day, with menus changing on a daily basis to ensure variety.
In keeping with government guidance, we are pleased to invite family, friends and pets to visit our residents, while continuing to welcome new residents. The home is located near public transport links, including the train and bus stations, so there is easy access for visiting family and friends, and there is plenty of on-site parking.
