As a care home with nursing, we take care of a range of residents of all ages and with a variety of needs.
It’s our aim to make residents truly feel at home, and that’s why all of our 66 single rooms can be personalised so residents can relax into their environment and enjoy their time here. This is part of allowing residents to express their individuality, and that’s why our carers also encourage residents to rekindle old hobbies – or develop new ones! We also organise a programme of fun and engaging activities for residents, but also leave space for quiet time to ensure there’s something for everyone.
We have many spacious areas for our residents to relax in, including our residents’ kitchenette which is a place where people can gather for some home baking and socialising, or to grab a snack including fresh fruit. Meanwhile, our chef and catering team use seasonal ingredients to cook up tasty and nutritious meals.
Just a few of our facilities include:
Beechcare is conveniently located near Dartford & London, and thanks to local transport links, there’s easy access to nearby shops and amenities. The rooms are on the ground floor only for our residents’ comfort.
To find out more about what support Beechcare can offer you or your loved one, simply contact us today and we’ll be happy to discuss our facilities and arrange a time for you to visit.
]]>Our dedicated team of carers look after our residents around the clock to deliver the varied care needs of our residents, including several specialist care categories. Being so close to the Welsh border means that several of our care team speak both Welsh and English to help with communication. Meadowbrook is in the capable hands of manager Elle O’hara, who leads the facility in being the peaceful and enjoyable place that it is.
All 69 of our bedrooms are ensuite and have phone, TV and internet access to make sure residents have everything they need to stay comfortable and connected. Rooms can also be personalised with a resident’s own furniture to make them feel right at home, and we also can cater for pets, on arrangement.
Our catering team uses fresh produce to treat residents to traditional home cooking, making sure any special diets are catered for. There is plenty of fun and socialising to be had at Meadowbrook, thanks to strong links with the local community and the appointment of a dedicated activities coordinator who designs a programme that suits many tastes and interests.
Our other facilities and services at Meadowbrook include:
We’re also close to public transport links, granting access to nearby shops and amenities.

]]>We are happy to announce that we have won the Healthcare Champion 2019 Award! Our fabulous manager and talented cooks received the award from Prue Leith at the Food for Life Served Here and Green Kitchen Standard Awards.
As part of our complex we have a purpose-built garden area for residents to enjoy, with a flat patio area and a raised flowerbed with aromatic plants. Our qualified staff, under the management of Carl Stevenson, provide the highest quality of care and can speak a variety of languages (English, Romanian and Urdu).
Close to local bus routes and with a visitors car park, we allow visitors and relatives at all times except for protected mealtimes. Located within a short distance of both Calderdale and Halifax, our residents can make the most of local shops and attractions.
Our two permanent cooks prepare fresh food for all diets and specialist requirements, alternating the menu and giving residents a range of options to choose from. To keep residents active and entertained, we also provide a range of activities, including arts and crafts, a book club, film club, armchair aerobics and lots of games and puzzles.
The local shops, garden centre and coffee shops are all part of arranged day trips for residents, with an annual barbecue with activities and family members in attendance.
